ALH Goldsmith's Rose-Marquis

Medium Silver Grey, 30707320, Full Peruvian

Rose-Marquis is one of those grays that turns heads. Her full head and leg coverage is what you normally see in light colored animals. I showed her in just 2 shows here in Michigan, both times taking Blue, and a Color Champion. She has been a stellar mother to her first cria Starlet born in 2010 and her 2011 cria is now getting lavished with her love. How sweet to watch them together.

  Captain Midnight Jax
    True Black, 809833, Full Peruvian

Also known as 'Bob' here at Alpaca Heights, what you immediately love about this herdsire is his 'Look'. Strong upright stature, conformation excellence, very good density, crimp & brightness. Originally called 'Buffalo Bob' by Alpaca Jacks where he was born, the name Bob just seemed to be appropiate. Captain Midnight was a popular radio show in the early days and is what I chose as his registered name.

Bob has been semi-retired around here as I've concentrated getting Oreo, Laurent & Vortex progeny on the ground. That's all changed for 2010! I've chosen Bob to breed my top 2 gray girls Rose-Marquis and Silver Threads.

Bob's most notable offspring to date is Midnight Isabella that resides at Buck's Meadow farm here in Michigan. Check out her show winnings and see what she's been producing on their farm.

Holy Cow, this boy is impressing me. Put your hands into his fleece and you'll be impressed with the density. Open the fleece and you will see teeny-tiny thin crimpy locks of bright golden honey colored fiber. Conformation excellence, just like his parents. One to watch and definite future herdsire. We've finally come up with a fitting name for him and his barn name will be Tommy.

Price: $1200
