Royal Gold is a multiple Champion Producer who is a full Allianza import. He was originally held as the importer's personal herdsire selection in the last Peruvian importation (1998). His reproducibility is undeniable! His 2011 EPDs show that he is reducing: Ave Fiber Diameter, Fibers over 30 & Medulation while increasing, clip weight and curve(crimp).
A product of the Antacalla/Allianza breeding program, he is a "perpetually fine" herdsire and has not increased over 23 micron, even at his advanced age of 15. He consistently produces very dense fleeced crias with Royal Fine and Vicuña Fine Alpaca fleece of 14 to 18 micron.
Royal Gold has sired numerous Champion, blue ribbon offspring that will always get comments from the judge remarking about their fineness and presence. He is capable of producing all colors, including black and grey.
