This beautiful Hemingway granddaughter has consistently fine fleece in typical Alianza fashion, with a dash of Accoyo. A solid, proven producer of quality crias at a solid price.
Sire - El Bello is a Studmaster (TM) male. An outstanding son of the great Hemingway, his dam is a top Accoyo female who reportedly had an AFD of 23.4 at seven years of age. For more information on El Bello, please visit: ideal-alpaca.com/alpaca/El-Bello-5.htm
Dam - Crystal de Peru was an in-utero import with her dam, Peruvian Frosty, in the very first importation of alpacas from Peru. This is the same importation that included Peruvian Bueno, Peruvian Don Julio, Peruvian Drambuie, Peruvian White Out, and Peruvian Hemingway.
This 3/4 Alianza 1/4 Accoyo female will produce well with a variety of males. Call for more information on Venus.
Franklin's Liberty
White, 30400160 , Full Peruvian
Liberty is a son of Accoyo Franklin out of our classic Alianza dam NWA Ltd. Louise. He has a very typical Alianza/Accoyo look and fleece character. Talk about small bundles and high frequency crimp! Better photos will go up when the weather changes. Come and check him out. Better still, look at the the offspring he has produced.
We have results of skin biopsies on Liberty sent to both Dr. Evans and Dr. Watts. They show unbelievably good results, better I am willing to bet than any male for sale in the US today. Let me know if you can find a white male for sale with better biopsy results than his. I publish them here with hesitation as some readers may think they are exaggerated!
Liberty had skin biopsies evaluated by both Dr. Norm Evans and Dr. Jim Watts ====Follicles per sq. mm==S/P Ratio= Watts....... 70.7 .............. 11.2 Evans....... 99.0 ............. 12.9
The micron count of his PRIMARY fibers was only 22 microns. Secondary fibers averaged

At this price Value is just that: another bargain in high-end huacaya genes!
"Genetically speaking, Value's sire and maternal grandsire are each the result of a linecross between alpacas from the Accoyo and Alianza lines. The resulting f1 was backcrossed to another Alianza line animal to produce Value's dam.
Additionally, Value is also mildly linebred, with a 25% relationship by pedigree to the great Hemingway, acheived by crossing a direct Hemingway grandson to a direct Hemingway granddaughter. This means that Value has the same degree of relationship to Hemingway as if he was a direct Hemingway grandson himself, (as calculated by the average percentage of genes inherited in each generation beyond the parent generation).
Linebreeding allows a breeder to retain a high degree of genetic relationship to one outstanding individual, though that ancestor may be many generations back in the pedigreee, and perhaps deceased. Additionally, linebreeding offers the opportunity to select outstanding offspring of the traget ancestor to insure that thet desired traits of the target ancestor are being preserved and maybe intensified." Linda Marie McWilliams
Bottom line: Value has been selectively bred using scientific principles of selective breeding to stamp his offspring with the traits that the Accoyo herd is known for: density, well-defined crimp; AND the fleece qualities that made the Alianza alpacas famous: lasting fineness, uniformity of micron, and high frequency crimp.
