Santina is a Half Accoyo daughter of SA Accoyo Royal Avenger, going back to Accoyo Roayl Fawn, arguably one of the most successful Accoyo Herdsires ever to be imported to this country..

Sandy did well in her show career, winning ribbons at all 3 shows she was entered; Buckeye Alpaca Show, AlpacaFest and The Empire Alpaca Show.

She is also a very good mother who passes on not only her qualities, but that of the herdsire as well.

Accoyo Mirage is one bold, exquisite young herdsire who is not only wonderful to look at but who grows pounds of crimpy fleece. His fleece is soft, extremely dense, high amplitude, distinctly broad, deep crimp throughout his abundant blanket and back to his hips...all the way up to his neck, back into his tail and throughout his amazing dense and full topknot. His legs are fully covered down to the ground. Mirage has what you'd expect of a full Accoyo male... beautiful type, ample bone and fleece that is extraordinary in its character and handle. As a bonus, he has a large medium fawn spot on his neck, telling us he has the ability to throw color! He is a son of the great Coyo Destini who has had an enormous impact on the Canadian herd. Purchased as a yearling in 1997 in the U.S. by the highly respected AOBA judge Kristin Buhrmann, he formed the cornerstone of her family's high-level, prize-winning breeding program at Mountain Meadow Ranch in Alberta, Canada until 2002.
