Granite State ("Rocky") is a handsome gray male who produces a huge blanket every year. His fleece is a gorgeous shade of gray and is always the first to sell, even though his micron puts him in the "mixed grade" category (great for rugs and other hand crafts!). He has not been gelded due to a retained testicle (which would require more extensive surgery to remove).

He can be a bit touchy about being handled, and so would do best with an experienced alpaca owner who knows how to be firm and confident, but gentle. Despite his attitude, we are very fond of Rocky and he is available only to a good home. He would make a nice addition to a fiber herd.
