Dark Silver Grey, 185307, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian
Core foundation female.
Co-owned with Skagit Valley Alpacas, who years ago declined an offer from Magical Farms to purchase Rose.
Rose is one of our herd matriarchs and can frequently be found nibbling on a stick. She is considered nearly irreplaceable because of her quality, color, personality and presence. She and her progeny have produced numerous award winners. Every one of her cria have been high quality.
Her grey 08 male cria, by Snowmass Artic Blue, is the image of his dam with advanced fiber characteristics.
Rose and her girlfriends were not rebred in 08...owner's decision, no fault of theirs.
When she is done breeding she will live out her remaining years at Skagit Valley Alpacas.
A. It's all about helping each other through these tough economic times. Period.
So far, Fox is producing mostly daughters...gray daughters!

Born assisted at 11:11 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2011 (Nov. 11 is Armistice Day), hence his name. His front legs were folded as if kushed, and his dam could not birth his knees and chest at the same time, so Laura unfolded his front legs and the birth proceeded normally.
"Remy" is big, brown and beautiful with a dense, incredibly fine, crimpy and silky fleece from his nose to his toes. 23.5 lbs. at birth.
Remy's birth was the first I had to assist in a major way due to his front legs being folded and his feet being held tightly to his chest, thus he could not get through the birth canal. In the end, dam and cria are doing great and I hope I won't have to do that again for at least another 14 years!
We look forward to watching him grow up!
Sire is the 2010 AOBA National Gray Male Composite Champion from Snowmass.
Dam is a high quality, DSG P. Guellermo daughter. She produced our handsome Blenheim in 2010 by our champion, Constantino.
