ALH Laurent's Silver Threads   

Medium Silver Grey, 31455046, Full Peruvian

In 2008, Silver Threads' sister Rose-Marquis took the Blue at the MIAF Fleece Show. In 2009, little sis, Silver Threads did the same thing! That makes 2 Blues for each of the girls in the limited showing I am able to do. I'm now wearing their combined fleeces in a custom-made jacket made by Michigan's talented alpaca coat designer!

We are pleased that we have been able to take back-to-back 1st place ribbons at our Michigan Breeder's Show the last 2 years with our gray juvi's out of the same dam, with the sires being Accoyo's Goldsmith & his son, Providence Laurent.

Silver Threads exhibits the qualities not often seen in grays and we look forward to creating many more just like her!

Also known as 'Bob' here at Alpaca Heights, what you immediately love about this herdsire is his 'Look'. Strong upright stature, conformation excellence, very good density, crimp & brightness. Originally called 'Buffalo Bob' by Alpaca Jacks where he was born, the name Bob just seemed to be appropiate. Captain Midnight was a popular radio show in the early days and is what I chose as his registered name.

Bob's most notable offspring to date is Midnight Isabella (mother to Zepplin) that resides at Buck's Meadow farm here in Michigan. Check out her show winnings and see what she's been producing on their farm.
