Bedelia is the second daughter and cria born to our Patagonia's Orphelia. Half sister Nishelia, did extremely well in the show ring in 2005 and Bedelia has continued her winning ways. In 2007, half brother T. Will took a reserve color in his first show at six months of age. In Bedelia's first show she was second to the color champion at the Madison show and then went on to take first in her class of dark brown juvenile females at the GWAS in Denver. Her Castano Bay sire certainly gave her outstanding conformation and the combination of parents contributed to her crimpy, fine, dense fiber.
Her first cria, a black female (DOB 6/1/2008) Myriah, is living up to expectations. This cria is also the first cria for Zephyriah, our full Peruvian bay black Zephyrus son. Look for this youngster in our show string in 2009. Myriah is so nice we repeated the breeding again!
Bedelia has just delivered a dark brown Marathon female cria 9/30/10.
EIGHT TIME CHAMPION--all in halter in full fleece! Marathon has ended his show career on the top as one of the best colored full Accoyos in this country. He exhibits incredible fleece with high amplitude, well-bundled, long staple length fiber.
Marathon truly has fiber-to-be-seen...and felt. His extremely bright, soft fleece has an outstanding hand that has impressed people across the nation! To describe his fleece as "new generation" or "elite" is definitely in keeping with its qualities.
Marathon has proven himself to be a great breeding male. As his cria start to arrive and be shown (with good success), we are amazed at the variety of colors he is producing from a wide range in maternal colors.
Marathon's variety of colors includes true black and grey. We now have three grey cria, including a grey male (full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo)born 3/21/2010 (from a Nic Nac daughter), a grey female born 5/16/2010 (from a Patagonia Kaspa daughter), and a rose grey female bor
***Amelia's sister took the R COLOR CHAMPION and also has added 3 blue ribbons to her show career. And she is silver/rosegrey depending on the show. Beautiful female! Another sign of the wonderful genetics that Amelia can pass on!
Amelia is a graceful, beautiful, dark brown female who has great presence AND now we can add CHAMPION to her name. She is a wonderful composite of her sire and dam. She is fine like her maternal sire Peruvian Castano Bay, has the dam's rich dark brown color, and has the Accoyo bold crimp, density and consistency of her full Accoyo sire, Marathon. Amelia has wonderful coverage from both sides of the family where there are a number of champions. And did we mention that sweet "teddy bear face"! She has black and grey in her background as well as fawn from Marathon. She will certainly add beauty, some wonderful color prospects and quality to any herd. Amelia sells with a breeding to Tsunami or a breeding to Marathon, her sire, for another of your females.
