Melissa is as beautiful as she is sweet. She's a very fleecy white girl who gave birth to her first cria, Lucien of Elfenwood, in May of 2006. (Lucien won many blue ribbons in the white male category.) Melissa produces more milk than any alpaca we have ever seen. Her crias are always fat and healthy with shiny fleeces and outstanding staple length. Melissa's second cria, Starbuck, was born in June of 2008 and carries the crimp, luster and staple length we have come to expect from this girl's crias. Melissa did it again with her third cria from Golden Panache this past spring. Her son, Caspian took a 5th place in the prestigious NAAS in April 2009. We feel Melissa is our finest breeding girl.
