Lady Monaco is in a class all her own and would be a top female in any herd. Pictures do not do her justice, but when I saw her blurry 1/06 photo I knew she was something very special and wanted her in my herd. She passed our detailed selection criteria and so was purchased to be at the top of our foundation females. She's a headhunter's dream and very prepotent. She also has very strong instincts and is very expressive, yet is easy to manage. She shows constant concern for others, alpacas and people alike. All four of her fawn colored grandparents are from the last, most stringent '98 importation and different regions. She's a full Peruvian with outcross vigor. Her breeder, other breeders, her veterinarians and breeder/judge Mike Safley have all commented on her outstanding qualities. She has continued her exceptional qualities into motherhood: 07: P. Lady Grace - 15 lb. 2350 IgG; 1st place VAOBA. 08: Triumph - 16 lb. non-fading TB by P. Incantation 09: Chri

"Marky" was born with exceptional phenotype and is covered nose to toes with curly red-brown fleece that is so fine you have to strain to see the individual fibers.
His dam blossomed slowly and had maintained her blue ribbon traits into full maturity.
AOBA Gray Male Composite Champion Sire from Snowmass, full Peruvian.
Blue ribbon maroon dam (AWE / Safley), full Peruvian.
His full sister is our Faith.
Marq and Faith have a pedigree that consists mostly of Peruvians from the final, most stringent importations as well as the famous Alianza sire, P. Bueno. So, except for Bueno and Casanova, they are unrelated to most bloodlines.
Full Peruvian.
Interestingly, his sire is producing far more gray daughters than gray sons as most of his sons are browns and blacks. See his production stats on his herdsire page.
