UPDATE: GYPSY DOES IT AGAIN!!! REBRED TO 588 PERUVIAN LANASTER, MAPACA'S HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2010, GYPSY HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO LANCASTER'S LUCINDA ON 3 OCTOBER 2011. Gypsy was one of those animals that was just born beautiful and got more so as she matured. Quite early on, you could see she had the high quality fleece of both her sire Hemingway's El Reino and her grandsire, Peruvian Hemingway. In addition she has has the feminine sweet inquiring disposition of her mother, Caoba.
Gypsy's first cria, ROMANY, born in 08, is a true black beauty, and a 9X Black Color Champion, 2X Black Reserve Color Champion. Her second cria LA BOHEME is a 2X Color Champion as well. Quite simply, Gypsy is a produer of champions.

6x Champion Peruvian Lancaster is simply all you'd want in a herdsire. Not only is Lancaster's fleece consistant, but so are his career show winnings. HE WON HIS 14TH BLUE RIBBON AT MAPACA 05. And, he won the coveted Fawn Male Color Championship at MAPACA 2004. Judged by Mike Safley and selected from over 124 lite, medium, and dark fawn males from the top farms around the country, Lancaster has been called by more than one judge: "the total package".
UPDATE; LUCINDA TAKES HER FIRST BLUE RIBBON AND FAWN COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE EASTERN STATES EXPOSITION, SEPT. 2012. JUDGE STEPHANIE GLYPTIS TOLD THE AUDIENCE THAT LUCINDA HAD ONE OF THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST FLEECES SHE HAD SEEN AT THE SHOW.
LANCASTER'S LUCINDA has a lot to live up to as her mother Gypsy is a Champion, her father is a 6 X Color Champion and Mapaca's Herdsire of the year 2010, and her 2 full sisters can boast of 14 Championships, between the two of them.
