Sent from above, Heaven Lee is a perfectly conformed beautiful True Black alpaca. From her gorgeous typey head, to the tips of her heavily boned and fleeced toes this Patagonia Compadre daughter carries a rich black fleece that most alpacas only wish for. Her fleece exhibits high amplitude and medium frequency with a distinct curl to each crimp. Heaven Lee's fleece has an extremely soft hand, good density, great lock definition and is very bright.
Heaven Lee has been one of our outstanding black production females giving us 4 impressive cria, 3 females and a male. Her first is our stunning Avatar daughter, then she gave us a blue ribbon-winner Giovanni son, then a daughter and this year another stunning daughter sired by our premier herdsire, Accoyo America Phoenix. We kept Heaven Lee open this fall to put her into a spring birth rotation. Accoyo America Phoenix is a spectacular example of Hemi-Accoyo genetics. He is the much decorated Medium Fawn son of Phoenicia, a full Peruvian, True Black, Camilio daughter who is also an AOBA National Black Color Champion. His Sire, Vic Junior, is the best-known full Peruvian son of Accoyo Victor, and grandson of Peruvian Hemingway. Phoenix is extremely dense with a bright fleece arranged in well-differentiated, long-stapled bundles. He’s a robust, vigorous, well-conformed herdsire with a long and successful show record. His annualized fleece weight for 2007 was 11.8 pounds and this 4th fleece still has amazing character and fineness. Oh my, the first cria have arrived, and we are NOT disappointed: Color, Density, Fineness, and Character. What more can we ask for? Skyline’s Julia was a star the moment she was born. We named her after Julia Roberts because she is such a looker. Her fiber is crimpy all the way up her neck and she has that awesome teddy bear head. Besides being a beautiful alpaca to look at she also has genetics that anyone would want to add to their herd. Her Sire is our premier herdsire, Accoyo America Phoenix, who brings together both the Camilio and Victor Lines. Her Dam, Heaven Lee, is an impressive Bay Black, Patagonia’s Compadre daughter out of a Med. Brown Dam.
We weren’t alone in thinking Julia was impressive as she did quite well on the show circuit last season. She was on the younger side and came into her own at AOBA Nationals taking a 2nd in a very competitive class. It was her total package, great conformation, and a fine and bright fleece that put her in that spot.
We hate to put Julia on our sales list as she is such an outstanding animal but we really, can’t keep them all and are pleased to be offering one of our best.
Julia has been bred to Jedi Master for a 2013 cria. We are anxious to see the results of this pairing!
