Silver Mist has all the traits we are striving for in our herd: A beautiful light silver gray, she has extremely fine fleece (19 microns at 2yrs) with superior density. No wonder she took Reserve Color Champion at the Estes Park All-Suri Fleece show in 2006, beaten only by a rose gray fleece. Although there was no award that year for Processor's Choice, I was told by the Processor that she would have taken that distinction in the entire show. Check out her histogram!!
Her sire is Virgo El Boliviano who is well-known for his ability to produce silver-gray babies.
Silver Mist is a large female with excellent conformation, a good mother and easy birther. Her first cria, Silver Spurs, is a beautiful blue-ribbon-winning medium silver gray out of WLK Silver Threads. She is bred back to Silver Threads and confirmed pregnant for a 2012 cria.
