At the A-OK Blast Off show, Copper first beat out the 2007 MOPACA Champion and Reserve Champion for the blue, then went on to become a Champion himself! Judge Shannon McConnell referred to Copper's fleece as "cool to the touch".

This was a beautiful follow up to his performance at the Mid America Alpaca Show where he placed 2nd to Deacon Grey out of a field of 13 yearling grey males. Copper went on to be awarded the Reserve Color Championship behind Deacon Grey. Deacon Grey recently sold for a whopping $90k!

Copper's sire is a Color Champion, as well as his grandsire Wiki Wiki, and Mr. Roosevelt on his dam's side. He has fine, bright fleece, a confident presense, yet a very gentle and easy going nature. His confirmation and balance are perfect. His first year fiber statistics strongly indicate that he will maintain an incredibly fine fleece for years to come ~ as evidenced by extraordinarily low SD & CV values. Look at that spinning fineness!!
