PPPeruvian Maxima 4706

White, 138826, Peruvian

Maxi is an ideal foundation female. She has consistently produced beautiful crias with no difficulty in conception and quick unassisted deliveries.

  Mister Maverick
    White, 165980, Peruvian

According to Jude Anderson, Mister Maverick looked just like his legendary Alianza sire, PERUVIAN DON JULIO. From outstanding lineage, he has the traits you expect: eye-catching precense, flawless conformation and a perfect bite, dense fine fleece, extravagant coverage, heavy bone - and no 'hairy' look from coarse guard hair, not even in the 'apron'!

A full Alianza female, Miss Maxine is a very typey alpaca with the look that catches the judges' eye. Open her fleece and her well defined crimp will catch yours!

Sire - Mister Maverick was a strikingly handsome male. Jude Anderson said he was 'the picture of his sire'. She should know, since she and her husband, Alan Cousill, exported him from the US to Australia in 1997, and they remained partners in Don Julio until his death a few years ago.

Dam - PPPeruvian Maxima, another of the treasured collection of Alianza females from the 'PPP' importation aquired by Sixth Day Farm to form the foundation of the female side of the herd.

Maxima produced 10 registered crias in her lifetime, proof of her reproductive soundness and overall vigor.

Production History

2012- 46 mths - AFD: 23.8 - SD: 5.7 - CV: 24.1% - CF: 90.9% (Superfine)

NOTE: On the fiber test, when the FD is low, the SD and CV are higher, and the%>30 is low, the variation in fiber diameter that pushes up the SD & CV is often on the LOW side of the graph. This reveals genetic variation for FINER FIBER in successive generations. Almost always, as the animal matures the SD & CV level off at the lower numbers we are taught to look for.
