Charlie White is a full Peruvian stud who is big, bold, strong and loaded with pride and presence. His fiber takes a second to nothing. High frequency of crimp throughout the fleece from head to hip. But no wonder, his sire is Peruvian Maple Brook Fandango, his grand sire Peruvian Bueno and his dam took first place Produce of Dam out of 17 entries in 2003. His sisters have done an excellent job in the show ring too with several blue ribbons including a Reserve White Color Champion. Charlie just earned the prestigious Reserve Color Champion award at the 2004 Great Western Alpaca Show here in Denver, Judge - none other then the highly respected Dr. Julio Sumar. Charlie White is "a must have" in a herd sire breeding program!

Monique is owned by Lana Bella Alpacas, and that means Jody Hezoucky loves and cares for this girl! She is offered exclusively as part of a herd offering in The Secret Meadow, or individually if you prefer.
Peruvian Monique is a special alpaca. She's got character of expression, character of form and character of fiber, all wrapped up into one lovely female.
"Monique's lineage is impressive," reports Jody. "Her dam is a Camelot daughter, so that tells you she is VERY colorful through and through. Monique's sire is Peruvian Charlie White, and HE is the grandson of the great and one and only Bueno on the sire side, and the legendary Hemingway on the dam's side."
Monique's fleece is spectacular, too. While it might be tempting to think Monique's breeder (Jody) might be a little bias, that is simply not the case. Jody is actually one of the few Certified Fiber Sorters in the U.S. and follows strict and consistent guidelines in evaluating fleece. Jody tells us, "Monique's fleece has crimp all the way to the tips, and is very very soft, bright, and dense."
As far as disposition goes, Monique is very sweet. "She's also curious and one that loves to give kisses," says Jody.
