| | | Miss Ellie is not for sale. We are holding her open for the winter and will be sending her for her breeding to Snowmass Taboo in the Spring of 2010. Miss Ellie has earned a nice rest over the winter, as she has rewarded us with 3 awesome female crias in a row.
In 2007, Miss Ellie gave us a beautiful solid black female cria sired by MFI Pistol. She was bred back to Pistol for a September 2008 repeat performance. On September 5th, 2008, Miss Ellie delivered a 20 lb. female cria in Miss Ellie's own image. And, this year, on October 21, Miss Ellie gave us a solid lt. brown female sired by Lilly's Accoyo Dupioni - a FULL sister to DUPIONI'S GENTLE BEN, our AOBA CHAMPION herdsire!
Miss Ellie is an attention-grabber. Her fleece is dense with extraordinary, eye-popping brightness. It is consistent throughout and has an elite, high-frequency crimp. She has taken the show ring by storm. Judges consistently remark on her density, elite fleece character, extreme brightness, and c | |

| | | We have the results from his initial breedings on the ground and proof that Snowmass Novas Taboo produces ELITE cria! You can already feel the crimp, density and fineness in their months-old fleece and see their vigor as they pronk around the pasture. As for color: Taboo throws it in abundance. Of his first four cria on the ground one was true black out of fawn, medium brown out of white, and true black and bay black out of true black! We're already looking at show schedules!
Taboo brings with him his father's sterling qualities and is the Snowmass breeding programs complete package including consistency of fleece: 17.1 microns at his first shearing and %>30 was a mere 0.6; 19.5 microns at his second shearing with %>30 only 1.4; at his third shearing his micron was 22.1 and at his fourth shearing he was still an elite 23.8 (GRID sample - collected from several areas and averaged). Stack that consistency up against any other True Black herdsire and your list will be
