Moon is an excellent production dam. All her cria have been better than herself. She has soft, fine fleece with a nice handle. She breeds easily, delivers without assistance and has great mothering instincts.

In 2006 Newmoon was bred to our Accoyo/Alianza herdsire Enchantment's Prince Regent. The pairing produced a stunning brown female cria who won Color Champions in halter and fleece - LSA's Regent's Moonlight Pavane.

We will include a breeding to any one of our fully owned herdsires. We would recommend rebreeding to Regent or perhaps Champ or Biscotti. A production dam like Moonie, who breeds easily, has healthy cria that are always an improvement and is a good milker is worth her weight in gold to any alpaca breeder.
