Peruvian Lucinda is owned by Mark & Jeanne McCall of Gray Barn Farms in Ohio. She's offered for sale individually, but at an unspeakable, irresistible price as a part of a special Collection obtained only via The Secret Meadow. If you haven't yet discovered The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas, "Discreet Herd Dispersal Offerings for Qualified Buyers," please visit: www.The-Secret-Meadow.com...Now, back to Lucinda!
Lucinda is the ideal foundation dam, as evidenced by her tremendous production record for easy breeding, text-book birthing and excellent mothering qualities.
A daughter of the well-respected CPeruvian Donatello, Lucinda's got a strong personality and a bit of an "import" attitude, which means, "Hey - I AM AN ALPACA, SO DON'T TOUCH ME UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO, OKAY?"
Lucinda's fleece has nice density and a fair handle for a 12 year old gal, and she's dressed in a beautiful, warm beige. Her muzzle, the insides of her ears and her toe-nails
MFI Peruvian Admiral
Dark Fawn, 1162394, Peruvian
17 time 1st, 2nd, 3rd , or Championship winner! Comments are always the same: awesome fleece!!!***
Full Peruvian, 3/8 ACCOYO, Dark Fawn, blue ribbon winning herdsire! He's got it all: unparalleled fineness (16 MICRON COUNT @ a year old!), high frequency crimp, luxurious handle, outstanding density, great conformation, & superior lineage.
Many have been mesmerized by the soft handle of Admiral's fleece, commonly uttering " This is the softest fleece I've ever touched!" AOBA judges are consistently impressed by his fleece, commonly calling him the "finest fleeced in the class". He has maintained this fineness even as a breeding herdsire, WOW! Combine this with his bundling high frequency crimp, Accoyo density, and great confirmation, and it is no wonder his cria are looking the way they are: awesome!
His background is the real amazing story. His lineage includes, Accoyo Camillo, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Magnum (National Champ)

DW Bowser is wholly owned by Jeanne & Mark McCall of Gray Barn Farms. He's being offered for sale both individually & in a special Collections at an unspeakable price obtained only within The Secret Meadow. www.The-Secret-Meadow.com
DW Bowser is a sharp, sweet-faced juvenile, reaching on up to maturity here soon. Now is a wonderful time to obtain a promising young male with superb genes, as he's prime age for showing, and he'll be ready to start breeding before you know it.
I asked Mark & Jeanne to tell me about the DW Bowser they know and love...Here's a little of what they said:
"DW is the 5th cria from our female Lucinda & he comes from excellent bloodlines. What's also great is he shows excellent fiber characteristics, including a very fine handle."
I've got a fiber sample here in my office. I have to agree with them in that it DOES have a superb handle & lovely, even color. There is nice crimp and a brightness, too, but what's most impressive is the staple length....OVER 6" (4/30/11 sample)!
DW Bowser's conformation is upright and correct. "His bone and overall frame is very sound," confirms Mark.
DW Bowser's bloodlines are truly ones to sit up and take notice of. If you've got even a little knowledge of highly prized bloodlines found in the U.S., then get ready to have your socks knocked off, okay? Here goes:
DW Bowser's paternal great, great grandsire is PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014, to start with. Next we see his maternal grandsire is CPeruvian Donatello; oh, but we've got so much more here...ready?
His paternal great grandsire is the intensely colored, extraordinary herd sire, 5Peruvian Camelot 9040 who, when paired with THE DAM OF THE CENTURY (yes, you know who she is) PPPeruvian Misty Maiden 5046, produced D.W. Bowser's paternal grandsire, SCA Peruvian Magnum, who then went on to produce MFG Admiral with a PPeruvian Camilio G4561 daughter by the name of MFG Victory Velvet! Hard to get more "stacked" than this in the genes department.
