BF Tuckasegee (pronounced "tuck-uh-SEE-gee") is wholly owned by Jeanne and Mark McCall of Gray Barn Farms in Ohio. This young lad is growing up fast and is available individually (once he's successfully weaned he can leave his mom's side), or as part of an incredible Collection with a price so "unspeakable" it is only found within The Secret Meadow.
"Tuck" is a full brother to DW Bowser (also on this sales list), so you will want to check his listing out, too. Tuck is a repeat performance and a pretty near duplicate to "DW" in many ways, but he's so young, only time will tell if he possesses the same level of desirable characteristics and qualities, or if he is an improvement (certainly possible). Regardless, this little lad is jam PACKED with all the makings of a winner.
Regarding his fleece, Jeanne tells us, "He has very nice density and handle, with defined crimp, character and brightness." It will be particularly interesting to see what his yield is at his first shearing.
Tuck so far appears to have strong conformation to be shown off. I asked Jeanne & Mark about how he carries himself, and they said "He shows some signs of presence, more so when he doesn't know you are looking. He has nice bone structure, very straight."
Put him on your show string and start raking in the ribbons...Success in the show ring seems highly probable with Tuckasegee.
Tuck's got a very gentle disposition and, like most young alpacas, he's playful and curious with boundless energy for pronking in the fields and pestering dams!
