Accoyo Tayberry is about as close as you can come to stepping right off the Accoyo Ranch. Her dam, Tayabamba, is a full Accoyo foundation female for Accoyos of America. Tayabama's import record boasts a + for crimp, lock, leg, body and head and a ++ for density. She is the dam to PCA Accoyo Bolivar and Jedi Accoyo.

Tayberry's sire, Caligula, is considered by many to be the greatest herd sire imported into this country. He passed away in 2003 making Tayberry one of the last and closest links to his genetics. Caligula is an 8X Get-of-Sire Champion.

Our farm is heavy with Caligula genetics - and for good reason. The density, fineness and form that are consistently produced by our Caligula offspring, our El Nino offspring and our Michaelangelo offspring is impressive and has earned us many accolades in the showring. Leonardo's crias began to arrive in 2006, and he is consistently passing on his overall "look" and stunning fiber.

Leonardo's first cria, in 2006, AML Nobility has had a phenomenal show record: Five Color Championships, three Reserve Color Championships, and nine blue ribbons; plus Judge's Choice and Best Crimp at the 2009 MAPACA as a two-year-old

**Calidad Cruise Control (white): Three second places, one third place (in highly competitive white male juvie classes)

You won't find many other working males with histogram results to compare to Leonardo's. Leonardo's micron count at 6 years of age is only 21.7, and as you can see from the annual histograms below on the left, his statistics have remained the same for four years in a row (since he was a yearling)!
