Camille is a phenomenally fleeced Legacy granddaughter. She is a top foundation dam. She maintains her fineness even after 5 beautiful crias. At 5 years old and producing awesome crias, she's still one of the finer alpacas on the ranch. She is also very solid in her production, matured early (a trait she passes to her offspring), and she's given us one cria a year with 5 nice crias on the ground. Her sire is Peruvian Red Hot who possesses the Ultra-Fine fleece that Snowmass Alpacas is breeding for as they continually try to push the genetic envelope.

Smokin’ Hot is an incredible guy! Watching him develop into, what we believe is an exceptional herdsire has been exciting! CHECK OUT HIS third year, 2012 histogram...... with a 16.8 micron, a 3.2 SD and a CF of 99.4, we think this guy is pretty spectacular! We admired his sire, Snowmass Porteus, for over one year, and set our sights on one of his cria! Porteus took first place, both, as a Juvenile and Yearling at The Futurity, in 2005 and 2006, respectively! At 2 years old, Smokin’ is following in his sire’s footsteps with LONG, FINE, XXXtremely BRIGHT staple that is incredibly consistent throughout his entire well-balanced, frame! His fleece exhibits lots of shine, and has a terrific handle. At 5 months old, Smokin’s staple length was 80.0 mm. At 18 months old, Smokin’ fired both barrels with a staple length of 125mm! That’s incredible! Smokins’ dam, Followill Camille, is a phenomenally fleeced Legacy granddaughter, and is considered a top foundation female! She matured early, which is a trait she passes on to her offspring!
