		When herdsires are selected for the Studmaster program, there are many factors considered in the decision. Hemingway’s Tequila is the offspring of a superior dam, Peruvian Ayabaca, and the famous Peruvian Hemingway. He represents all the phenotypic expressions of those elite genetics that you would expect. He is alert, displays constitutional vigor, is well-proportioned, has good bone, and finishes off the package with cover to the grass and a beautiful head. But you must add his super fine fiber to the equation, which tested 15.8 microns at 12 months and 16.9 microns at 24 months! This fleece is spectacular. It is organized into tight, bundled staples that are blessed with high frequency crimp. Put it all together and you have the shear off champion at the 2003 Redmond AWE show. Ms. Britney is one of the grand dams of our colored breeding program and one that we take on and off the sales list. She is the dam of one of our herdsires, Impact's Nirvana, who just earned the 2011 Pacific Northwest Showcase Fleece Show Judge's Choice as a white, and Miss Arizona who has 5 Championships and Reserve Championships to her name as a dark brown. These include the 2011 AOBA National Show Brown Reserve Color Champion. Ms. Britney carries a fine fleece that is of high frequency and medium amplitude. She has a great overall phenotype and is a great mother. Her claim to fame is that she passes on a bright, fine and consistent fleece with great phenotype to her offspring. While Ms. Britney was not shown in her earlier years by her previous owner, she was awarded 5th place in the 2011 National Show Fleece Produce of Dam as a brown female with a white 4-year-old male (Impact's Nirvana and Dark Brown 2 year old (Miss Arizona)) as her produce.
