| | | Tanaquil- or as we like to call her, Tanny- is a great girl. She has a strong frame, dense crimpy fiber and a nice soft handle. Her unique Vicuna-esque markings really set her apart from the other girls in the pasture. She is a beautiful medium fawn with touches of the lighter fawn and white fiber across her belly and tops of her legs. In addition to the essentials, she is a charmer with the gentle friendly personality most breeders will look for in a foundation female. Tanny was bred to Formula 1 and gave birth to a gorgeous dark fawn female. She was strong and healthy with no trouble finding her way around the barn, and the teet. As a granddaughter of the great 588 Peruvian Lancaster and the great MFI Peruvian Jericho, this little girl, like the rest of Formula 1's "pit crew", will someday be in the winners circle. In 2010, Tanaquil produced another fantastic fawn female. FPA Talise is sired by MFI Peruvian Jericho. She is looking phenomenal with tight crimpy fleece and soft | |

FPA Talise is a masterpiece created by crossing the bloodlines of two of the most renowned herdsires in the country. Talise is sired by MFI Peruvian Jericho, a male whose incredible fleece won First Place, Color Champion and Judge's Choice (there were three Judges) for the best OVERALL huacaya fleece at the 2002 AOBA National Conference Fleece Show defeating ALL other colors, including White, a feat never accomplished before nor since. Talise follows in her sire's footsteps when it comes to her gorgeous dark fawn fleece. She is uniform in her color all over her body and also in her crimp. She is generously covered from head to toes in soft, crimpy bright fleece that makes the other girls in her pasture drool! She has strong bones and straight conformation. Talise's dam, Chatham Lancaster's Tanaquil is a beautiful girl and has produced beautiful offspring. This is where we also see another powerhouse of genetics and quality come into play. He is 588 Peruvian Lancaster. Lancaster won his 14th blue ribbon at MAPACA '05. And he won the coveted Fawn Male Color Championship at MAPACA '04. Lancaster has been called, by more than one judge: "the total package". We feel like we would do her no justice if we didn't say that we feel like FPA Talise is the total package too.
