We purchased Snowmass Elite's Breeze at the 2010 Genetics Advancement Sale, and we feel very fortunate that we were able to do so. Her distinct characteristics astound us, specifically her AFD's year 1: 16.6, year 2: 16.7, year 3: 19.1, year 4: 17.7, year 5: 18.8, SD 3.8 and CV of 20.0 %>30 1 (at age 5). Furthermore, her Curv was a 59.5 at age 2 and a 50.2 at age 5. As stated in our website narrative, we believe that the key to this business is not fineness in the first year or two. Rather, the key is long-term fineness that will provide the rancher fine fleeces for years and in turn, a long term return on investment. That is exactly what Breeze is doing for us. Her most recent AFD EPD is -2.416, and her SD AFD is .532. Furthermore, her EPD for %>30 is -10.388. Finally, her EPD for %M is -7.765, and her Curv EPD is an impressive 4.325. She is set to do just what we thought she would bring to her cria. We have definitely not been disappointed!
