Georgia is a great proven mother with excellent mothering instincts and winner of 5th in Produce of Dam at Alpacapalooza 2007 in a class of 12, with two of her female crias, Manoa & Savannah. She placed right below a very large and well-known farm!
Georgia exhibits a nice huacaya phenotype and a uniform, fine, dense fleece with just a dusting of silver fibers showing in her blanket and neck. She is medium boned, good conformation, good body capacity, and has an easily managed calm disposition.
She easily carries her pregnancies to 330 days and delivers 16 pounds crias with no complications. She has had a cria every year since 2005. She has great mothering instincts and produces plenty of milk, with her cria gaining between 3/4lbs. to 1 lb./day! Her 2007 cria, Pendleton, weighed in at 3 1/2 times his birth weight at just 2 months old! These qualities make Georgia a wonderful production female for your herd.
