Dark Brown, 1445879, Full Peruvian

Tempest is a rich dark brown with black markings and some gray highlights. Her fleece is VERY dense and crimpy with unsurpassed luster at the skin. With perfect conformation and a "typey" Accoyo head, she is a very impressive big-boned animal, and she is passing all these traits on to her offspring! Tempest is friendly and easy going, and acts as one of our farm ambassadors to any new visitors. She actually seems to enjoy a good scratch behind her ears while she does her best to "taste test" your clothing.

Tempest is bred to HDF Accoyo Lincoln for a Summer 2010 cria that should be dark, beautiful, and 5/8 Accoyo! ***NEWS FLASH*** Tempest gave birth on 6/21/10 to a BEAUTIFUL, feisty, 21.2 lb medium brown boy! This guy came out quick and was ready to GO from the start! He was up and RUNNING around less than 10 minutes after coming out! He looks and acts like he was a month old when he was born! We're really going to enjoy watching this fireball grow up!

Alejandro is a compact male with champion bloodlines on both sides. His bloodlines are from three imports making him not related to many of the Alpacas in North America. His dam and grandam are just as well known as some of the males here in the US.

He is throwing black 90% of the time regardless what color the dam is. His cria have been doing very well in the show ring.

Alejandro is co-owned with Poplar Hill Alpacas and we would like to thank them for allowing us to own half of this beautiful alpaca.

Alejandro will be at our partners, Poplar Hill Alpacas in Virginia. He will be available for stud service at their ranch for the 2011 breeding season. Contact us for breedings to AJ in the Spring of 2012!
