Comodus' fleece has "a lovely zipper crimp, softness and is very dense," gushes Pat. "He has extensive leg coverage" and topknot. "Comodus has a low micron count, too," says Bud. The primary, most apt and succinct way the Overmyers can describe Comodus is "LOTS OF FIBER!"
When we look at Comodus from the production perspective, one of the most important and impressive characteristics is that, as Pat says, "He produces cria with lasting low micron." She also reveals, "He sometimes will not breed with dark alpacas!" Hmmmm.... Guess he has his preferences? LOL! Regardless, "Comodus produces cria with his characteristics," explains Pat, & that's a very good thing!
I asked about the temperament of this knockout full Accoyo stud, and Pat tells us "He's got a good one! He's also a leader and is on top of the pecking order in position in his herd group and among other males. He doesn't look for fights but will (fight) if provoked."
In conclusion, Pat says, "Comodus has lots of personality and is easy to handle." She and Bud say he's "excellent" on halter and with leading and in the handling department during herd health care procedures. You can't ask for much better characteristics in a breeding male than what this stud offers!
