Dona has produced 4 outstanding male offspring, all of herdsire quality. In 2003 she gave us Silver Sterling, from a fawn sire. Sterling went on to win several 1st place ribbons and a 2nd at OABA Nationals in SLC. 2004, she gave us a beautiful medium silver grey female out of Socosani, (Silver Sierra)she sold big at the Spring Fling auction 2006. We were so impressed with the quality of this cria that she has been rebred to Socosani for 2005. In 2005 she gave us a true black female who placed 1st and Color Champion several times in 2006 (Socosani's Cache). Dona has fiber to die for with crimp, fineness, density and handle. Dona is conformationally perfect in every way, winning the 1998 National Fleece Championship and Halter champion yearling grey female at the AOBA conference. Dona comes from Silvercloud and C4Merrill - both chilean greys of superb quality. 2006 - Dona birthed a beautiful medium rose grey male (half accoyo) by a fawn full accoyo "Archemedis". He (Crusader)just pl
Jumanji is a full peruvian, true black, solid blanket male. His sire is 5Peruvian Socosani, a grey macho who has created many award winning blacks and greys. His dam, is a beige, AOBA 3rd place winner, and granddaughter of Royal Fawn. Jumanji has great potential for dark colored cria, and when you see and touch his blanket, you will know he is way under priced! He has very impressive crimp on a frame that can't be beat. He is nicely grown, with straight legs and perfect bite. I love the dark color of his fleece. His crimp style is exactly what the judges want to see these days, small tight, well defined, high amplitude crimp and it is also a very bright TRUE BLACK fleece! Your hand will just melt into his spongey softness. Soft as a bunny! Very buttery and healthy fleece.
Jumanji does have the classic white boots, and check out the distinct markings on his face. His tail has been dipped in grey, and his thigh is also grey. This clearly indicates the potential for grey in
Vintage Cecilia (brown w/ black tips)
Listed at $750 by Kim Rassi & of Brooklyn Heights, OH
yep, you see that right, for just $750 you can own Cecilia. Cecilia has everything a top quality production female should have... lots of density, nice crimp (although not good enough to bring home a blue :( ribbon but still worthy to show as all her other qualities will put her in the line-up somewhere.. just that she is not zipper tight crimp at this time). Her crimp style is small high frequency crimp, and it looks amazing at the skin. Her second fleece is far more impressive! Don't count her out just based on my very honest and hard assessment of her crimp, I only go to level 5 shows so I am comparing her fleece to Futurity winners and large farms like Snowmass and Cas Cad Nac. We all know that density is a very hard quality to pass along when breeding for the dark colors, and Cecilia has LOTS of density in her favor. She is also very fine, and does not have a halo of guard hair throughout her blanket as so many young alpacas have. Cecilia comes from outstanding stock. Her dam, Dona was 2 time Color champion at AOBA Nationals... grey fleece and grey halter. Her sire is a blue ribbon black male sired the great Socosani. Cecilia is large bones, straight with a perfect bite. Nice black tips on the ears and feet. Priced to sell! Breeding with Testerosa and El Capitan, both top quality greys from awesome bloodlines!
