Roman is a full Peruvian, fiber-packed huacaya
Roman has some outstanding bloodlines coursing through his veins. He's the son of BV Alexander the Great (a maternal grandson of PPPeruvian Grand Master 6019) and a paternal grandson of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014. On top of that, or "below" (whichever way you choose to look at it), his dam's sire is CPeruvian Donatello 113 IMPF98 - a highly respected medium fawn stud out of Canada and of all Peruvian heritage.
When asked to describe her male, Pat states that he's a "beautiful male with stovepipe leg covering, full topknot and tight crimp." She went on to say "his fleece is sooo soft, and it's dense like a plush carpet...He has lots of crimp and softness, though probably too many guard hairs." "He definitely has excellent fiber coverage, which is an asset," added Bud.
Roman has terrific conformation, too. "He has the short muzzle that is so attractive," notes Bud; and he truly is well-balanced. I can see he's put together with some substantial bone and upright presence, along with a good dental bite and nice, spear-shaped ears. Roman has sired one cria, born with his looks and fiber, too!
"Roman has a wonderful disposition, though he is a bit shy," reveals Pat. "He does not like to be away from his lifelong friend, Reco, with whom he wrestles the most."
