Naya is a striking, bright and colorful daughter of the true black stud, Sinja. Sinja is not only a "double black" son of 6Peruvian 007, he's also the paternal grandson of 4Peruvian Midnight Express!
Naya's dam's side of her "tree" includes a long line of grey genetics of Chilean heritage. Naya's maternal great grandsire is J.D.'s Remington, and he is a medium silver grey stud out of a true black dam and sired by yet another medium silver grey (J.D.'s El Cid). The fawns in Naya's dam's lines are wonderful transmitters of the grey, so you're looking at some pretty solid, reliable grey genetics here.

Beau is an exquisite animal with perfect conformation, bite and bone. His ears are beautiful and well-placed. He's got a short muzzle and gorgeous top line! Bud and Pat both say they think the thing that stands out most about Beau is "his head!" and I have to agree....so "Teddy Bear," isn't it?
"Beau's fleece is dense and buttery soft. He's also been blessed with fiber with a tight crimp that extends to his tail," says Pat. "He produced 6.5 lbs. of blanket fiber this year. Colorful Casey has hit the scene! Her flash is louder than her personality, though. This young girl is pretty much a loner and plays it "aloof," says Pat. "She's very close to her mother." My suspicion is she is just a late bloomer in the confidence and maturing departments. Give her time in a relaxed, pressure free environment and I suspect she will come around and bond with her caregiver(s).
Casey has a nicely "square" conformation with good bone and a really pretty head. Her ears are "perfect paca" in that they're shaped like beautiful spears. Her large, expressive eyes and warm expression complete her presentation - along with her gorgeous color, of course!
Casey has been blessed with lots of fluff! Her fiber staple is long and luxurious. I asked Pat and Bud to describe her fiber in their own words and they said, "Crimp, softness and medium density." Cool!
One of the things I like to ask owner/sellers about their alpacas is "How does this alpaca halter, lead and cooperate with Herd Health procedures?" and Bud and Pat tell us she does "fairly well!"
Casey has a lot going for her - especially if you're breeding for color or raising a fiber herd. She'll make a terrific "best friend" for a child, too, and she has the smarts in her genes to send her to the top of the class in agility trials! She just needs the right partner!
