| | | Lady Zabrina is owned by Ardell and Lorelei Judd of Twinstar Alpacas in Arizona. She’s offered individually or as part of a special Collection of quality alpacas via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas, the place where new beginnings are born!
Lady Zabrina’s top genetic asset is her sire: the well-respected, quite renowned true black stud, 4Peruvian Matador (see sidebar for more details on him). Lady Zabrina has also got Ghengis Khan PC G120 for a maternal great grandsire and some New Zealand genetics,, too (take a close look at her certificate!).
According to Ardell and Lorelei, Lady Zabrina is a “shy and reserved” alpaca, being “good, better than most” on halter, lead and in the handling department during herd health procedures. This, of course, is always helpful.

Treasure is a golden gal chocked full of outstanding qualities, and an “average” alpaca temperament, say the Judds. She’s got everything going for her and will have a long and wonderful production career, especially if she continues to be well bred!
Treasure, young but proven, has thus far proven to be a “good mom, and she has had really nice cria,” shared Lorelei. “ Unfortunately, she lost last year’s cria after a very hot summer, but she was rebred for an early 2013 cria.”
Treasure has a very nice lineage. Her paternal grandsire is the infamous DOM LUCILIO and (of course, he’s a Royal Fawn son) and she even has 4PERUVIAN LANARK’S MACHO MAN on her sire’s side.
Treasure’s dam is a daughter of the superb true black herdsire, 4PERUVIAN MATADOR and her granddam’s grandsire is none other than GHENGIS KHAN PC G120.
I asked Ardell and Lorelei what they feel stands out most about Treasure, and they replied, “She has a very uniform fleece with very little guard hair.” Excellent….
When I asked them how well she handles on halter, lead and during handling for herd health procedures they let us know, “Not well – she needs work on lead but other than that, she’s fine.”
How do the Judd’s describe their girl, Treaure, in one word? “NICE!”
