Belle Star is wholly owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms. Pine Forty is a large herd of suris boarded in three locations in the U.S. This dam is available exclusively via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas and can be purchased individually OR as part of an incredible Collection at an "unspeakable" price found only in The Secret Meadow.
Belle Star can be seen first-hand in Missouri, where she's being cared for by Ann Mayes. I asked Ann if she would, please, tell us about Belle Star, and she said she is "easy to breed, an excellent mother, long & stretchy, nice and easy," oh, and she has "fine fleece," too!
Belle Star's got a nice family tree.... Her sire is Bril Creme, a white and true black Bolivian stud sired by Highlander of Boliva and out of Shaquar of Bolivia. Her dam is a daughter of the much respected Bolivian herdsire, Illimani
Belle Star's conformation is correct, as you can see in her photos. Her front legs have substantial bone and are nice and straight, and she has a good topline, too!
Belle Star's 2011 fleece sample is still displaying nice, flat lock structure with soft hand and quite decent staple. Please be sure to request a sample so you can see and feel it for yourself. Lovely (and for a dam her age, especially).
Belle Star and her offspring have received ribbons in some very competitive shows under highly respected judges.
Belle Star has also produced some wonderful cria over the years, as well! Having a proven, reliable dam like Belle Star is a real blessing. Make her part of your quality suri herd today and smile big (and a lot) tomorrow! Says Julie, "Belles an excellent mother and I knew she would be because as a yearling, she took an active role in the care of her little brother. Belle even allowed him to nurse which brought her into milk production. She was also an early maturing female and had her own first cria at 3 years and 2 months of age."
