Carnegie's 2011 fleece boasts a 5.5" staple of gently twisted locks of soft hand with a bright, silky sheen.
Carnegie's conformation is sound and true...Bite and testes shots, along with others, are available upon request and confirm this statement.
Carnegie's temperament, says his caregiver (veterinarian Bill Hedberg), is "calm, and he's begun halter training & is easy to work with. He hangs out around the lower half, less assertive or aggressive in the bunch" of 20 intact males living together.
I asked Bill to describe Carnegie in one word, and he said, "Stylish!" He also said when asked what stands out most about this alpaca, "Luster and Lock." WOW. I'd say, if you're looking for a stylish suri with tremendous luster and lock to the fleece, Carnegie's the ticket! Bill says Carnegie really has "above average luster," and this is great!
