PFF PERLINO'S DIVA DIVINE
White, 819411
1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian
Diva Divine is wholly owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms, with a large herd of 100+ suris boarded in three locations in the U.S. This dam is available exclusively via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas. She can be purchased individually OR as part of an incredible Collection at an "unspeakable" price found only in The Secret Meadow.
Divine is being cared for by Dr. Bill Hedberg, DVM and boarded on Bill Hedberg Farms, Inc. in Iowa. I asked Bill a few questions only a caregiver can answer, so we can have a better idea of all that Divine presents and will offer to your herd and life.
First, I asked Dr. Hedberg to describe Divine's temperament and his answer - "Calm and quiet." In fact, he says her calm disposition is her most outstanding characteristic! I think that's a great quality to have in any suri.
He further went on to say she is "Easy to breed and tease...she's a very good mother."
Cloudypass' Peruvian Socrates
White, 833191, Peruvian
PPeruvian Baron son and maternal grandson of Peruvian Fineza Nieve G181.
Socrates' sire, PPeruvian Baron G4580, is the producer of no fewer than 96 ARI registered offspring in colors white, beige, light fawn, medium fawn and medium brown.
Socrates has produced no fewer than 36 ARI registered offspring as of October 2011, and in colors white, beige, light fawn, medium fawn and dark fawn. Heads up, though, as he is obviously a heterozygous suri, having produced four huacaya offspring, so this should be kept in mind when making breeding decisions involving this male as a choice.
PFF DIVINE'S ELEGANCE is boarding at: Pine Forty Farms

Elegance is owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms, with a large herd of suris boarded in three locations in the U.S. This dam is available exclusively via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas. She can be purchased individually OR as part of an incredible Collection at an "unspeakable" price found only in The Secret Meadow.
Elegance's conformation is sound and she's remained a very healthy alpaca.
Elegance's fleece displays lightly, gently twisting loose locks in cool white. The staple length on her 2011 clip sample ranges between 5.5" and 6" which is ideal for fiber production.
Elegance has wonderful "families" running through her veins, as well. Her pedigree presents some welcomed bloodlines to most suri herds in need of maintaining balance and diversity for genetic vigor.
Elegance has been held open thus far, due to the recession and her being a boarded alpaca with an owner ready to retire. It may take a little work to get her cycling again normally, but every indication is that she will not have any problem becoming pregnant and producing quality offspring when bred responsibly.
Cared for by Michelle and Christian Davies who describe Elegance as a "big girl" who is pretty up there "towards the top" of the pecking order in the herd, they further say she could use some "work" in the handling department. "She can be haltered and led but with extra encouragement." Halter training is not difficult, but if you do this for Elegance, and work with her, the bond you and she will have after that will be far more valuable than the training itself. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who really enjoys spending time with their animals. Elegance is ready for you!
Elegance will make a wise addition to any quality suri or fiber herd for so many reasons. Be sure to learn more about her and/or set up a time to inspect her in person ASAP! She's still of prime breeding age and can go the distance for you.
