Gardenia is owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms. Pine Forty is a large herd of suris boarded in 3 locations. Gardenia's a lovely, older dam (though not too old!), tried 'n' true, steady & consistent. She was early maturing, producing her 1st cria at 3 yrs. Proven dams like her are worth their weight in gold and especially advantageous to have if you are new to alpacas. She will set your mind at ease and "show you the way!" You'll fall in love with this girl, no question about it.
Gardenia boasts all Bolivian bloodlines, which is not easy to come by these days. It's important to maintain genetic vigor with a nice balance and variation on bloodlines utilized in ones breeding program, so Gardenia definitely puts something of serious value on the table in t

Guinda is wholly owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms. Guinda is an attractive suri dam whose caregiver, veterinarian Bill Hedberg, describes as having a real "solid conformation." Judging from the images provided by her owner, I have to agree that does seem to be the case.
Guinda has had basic halter training and behaves normally during shearing and herd health procedures, so this is nice to know.
I asked Bill how he would most aptly describe Guinda in ONE word and his reply was, "Curious." He further went on to say that she has a "very good temperament, is easy to breed and tease," and that she was "a good mother" with her cria, too. Oh, we like these types of comments, don't we?
Guinda has never been shown, but it's good to know she can and does produce show winners! Take a look at the ribbons some of her offspring have won for evidence of this...
Guinda's a nice find for any alpaca enthusiast with a goal for growing and developing fine alpaca fiber, in soft suri locks with sheen and staple ideally suited for the alpaca fiber mills in America and Canada.
Take a good look at Guinda's ARI certificate and see if her genetics will be compatible with those you may already have in your present herd. If you think so, let's take it to the next step toward making her yours!
