Maybach is a herdsire that commands your attention. His extremely strong build, typey head, and flawless conformation are the perfect framework for his soft, dense, bright and crimpy fleece. What sets Maybach apart from the rest of the fawn crowd is his outstanding pedigree of color. Maybach gets much of his strong conformation and fleece characteristics from his sire, Crescent Moon's Valentino, a super-fine bay black champion Danko son. Alpaca breeders in the know will not overlook the contribution of Maybach's dam Crescent Moon's Raya de Luna, an award winning daughter of 4Peruvian Legacy and Nasahuento's Poppy (Rayo Del Sol's dam).

Based on his powerful pedigree and dark genetics, we expect Maybach to make a significant impact on our color breeding program. Look for Maybach to contribute exceptional conformation to his offspring. He is also capable of producing dark colored offspring that have fleece characteristics comparable to their lighter counterparts.

Maybach is co-owned with our friends at Glen Ridge Farm in RI. He will be standing stud in Vermont and Rhode Island.
