Miss Lillian is owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms. Pine Forty is a large herd of 100+ suris boarded in three locations in the U.S. This dam is available exclusively via The Secret Meadow of Close-Knit Alpacas and can be purchased individually OR as part of an incredible Collection at an "unspeakable" price found only in The Secret Meadow.

This full Bolivian, proven dam has a very upright presence, correct conformation (awarded with ribbons, too) and an all white pedigree with some less common genetics to ensure vigor and diversity for your herd!

Miss Lillian is being boarded, and her caregivers are Michelle and Christian Davies. In an effort to help you and I (who have not yet had hands-on experiences and day to day life with this dam) learn more and understand most accurately what Miss Lillian's all about, they agreed to answer a few questions for us!

When I asked what they can share about Miss Lillian's production qualities, they tell us she's "a good milk producer! She's produced five cria and four of the five have been all white." Julie added, "Early maturity is a trait we value highly and Lillian was an early maturing female who had her first cria at 2 years (23 mos) of age."

I next asked, "What would you say is this alpaca's pecking order position in its herd group?" and they tell us she fits in from somewhere around the "bottom to the middle."

An important question I also posed to them was "How well does Miss Lillian halter, lead and cooperate with Herd Health procedures?" Their answer was "Once she is caught, she halters and leads okay. She just needs to be worked with."
