Socrates' sire, PPeruvian Baron G4580, is the producer of no fewer than 96 ARI registered offspring in colors white, beige, light fawn, medium fawn and medium brown.
Socrates has produced no fewer than 36 ARI registered offspring as of October 2011, and in colors white, beige, light fawn, medium fawn and dark fawn. Heads up, though, as he is obviously a heterozygous suri, having produced four huacaya offspring, so this should be kept in mind when making breeding decisions involving this male as a choice.

Valeria is owned by Julie Jarvinen of Pine Forty Farms, with a large herd of 100+ Bolivian, Peruvian and Bolivian/Peruvian mixed-heritage suris boarded in three locations in the U.S. In fact, Julie selected all of her original foundation Bolivians straight from the much-respected ACERO MARKAS breeding program.
Valeria has not yet been bred and has, instead, been held open due to her "boarding status" and the introduction of the recession a few years ago. Nevertheless, her owner/seller, Julie, tells us, "Valeria’s dam, PFF Veronica Lake, was another early maturing female who had her first cria at 2 years (26 months) of age. She continued to have a cria every 12 months like clockwork until we stopped breeding."
Valeria has a mixed heritage of both Bolivian and Peruvian bloodlines, and some pretty nice ones, at that!
Valeria is a dam with some substantial bone, a straight top line and well placed legs, both front and back. She also has large, expressive, truly beautiful eyes.
Valeria is being boarded in Missouri on a farm with others of the Pine Forty Farms girls owned by Julie.
Valeria's fleece is a bright, pure white with density and a flat lock structure. Her 2011 staple measures a respectable 4+ inches.
