| | | This Medium Fawn girl has matured into a stunning young lady. Gracie has the markings of a gray, with her face being lighter and darkening as you go down her neck. This is not surprising given her background. Gracie's sire is BRUNO, a young new herdsire at Alpacas Of America in Washington. He is the son of Bolivian Mocha and is absolutely beautiful! Her Dam is Miss Pryme Tyme, an exceptional True Black girl that we purchased from Alpacas Of America in December 05.
Gracie has very dense fiber with high frequency crimp that starts in her top knot and continues down her legs! She has dark markings on her face and black toe nails which has proven to allow her to throw black. Her first cria was a beautiful true black male out of Interceptor, a true black herd sire out of Dark Shaddow. Her second cria is also true black out of our true black herd sire The Wiseman who is also out of Dark Shaddow. Her cria, Faith, is really maturing very nicely!

| | | Grand River has released the information that DARK SHADDOW has been retired. We have loved this male from the 1st time we seen him and have been very happy with his offspring we have seen. Although we are saddened by this news we are happy to have bought this male. Wiseman is exactly what we were looking for in a Herdsire. Beautiful dense crimpy fleece with a nice soft handle. Excellent bloodlines with his sire Dark Shaddow who was the 2006 Reserve Herdsire of the Year. His dam is Sweet Magnolia who placed 2nd in a class of 14 behind the color champion in her only show.
Wiseman's fleece has exceptional density and staple length with a high frequency crimp. It is as bright as any black I have ever seen. He is maintaining a very nice micron of 20.3 at his 3rd shearing. Wiseman's conformation is flawless with big bone, straight top line, with stick straight legs.
