Dark Fawn, 30451940, Full Peruvian
|
|
| | | 20.8 microns at 4 years of age. Bridget is a gorgeous full peruvian daughter of Accoyo Express.
Bridget and her daughter were Lot #2 at the Priority Auction January 20th, 2012! They sold for $18,000 to TAG, The Alpaca Group of Ridgefield, WA. Congratulations! We are so happy that they will be included in their fantastic herd, and daughter Rain Song will be part of their 2012 Show String.
We bought Bridget with a true black month old boy at her side - that we had to have. Watch for "Glow in the Dark" at the 2011 shows. This guy is extraordinary, his fleece is one of the best blacks I have seen. We anticipate adding him to our herd sire row.

| | | NEWS FLASH: Lancaster wins the 2010 MAPACA Herdsire of the Year Award!
Lancaster daughters took the black female championship AND reserve at the Empire show! The same girls returned a week later to take the championship AND reserve the following weekend in VT!
UPDATE: new skin biopsy results from Dr Norm Evans: 20.2 micron 62 follicles/sq mm 10.7 secondary to primary ratio 3 of 4 gland score Lancaster took first place in the GET OF SIRE at the very big Ohio AlpacaFest Fall 2007 show over some stiff competition (The Aga Khan, Accoyo Express and more)! Lancaster offspring are consistent and consistently high quality. He puts his stamp on his offspring for sure.
Not only is Lancaster's fleece consistent but so were his show winnings. He won his 14th blue ribbon at MAPACA '05. And he won the coveted Fawn Male Color Championship at MAPACA '04. Lancaster has been called, by more than one judge: "the total package". Mr. Safley said what's more im

** Full Pervuvian True Black. ** 1/4 Accoyo - from his grandfather Accoyo Express. ** Son of Lancaster ** Awesome fleece!
First Place ABR Fallfest Fleece Show - with his juvie black fleece. 1/2 point behind our Zeppelin - Who Won Color Champion!!!! Level 3 show - 178 fleeces total.
We fell in love with Glow at a month of age, and immediately bought him and his mom Bridget. As he has grown up he has not disappointed one bit. We have visions of producing the very best in black - combining Zeppelin and Glow genetics!
He should be ready to start breeding this year - we are excited.
We have decided to push our grey program a bit harder these days though - and as a result have decided to make Glow available for purchase. This boy is rare - how many blacks has Mike Safley commented so highly about, as to compare their fleece to that of an elite white. We will be retaining 5 breedings to this male.
Please contact us for fleece samples and more information, this is the kind of male you should build your program around.
Available for purchase at $15,000.00 - allows for 18 month financing with $3750 down $625.00 per month. We will be retaining 5 breedings to him. $12,000 cash - 90 days same as cash price.
Awards Received Shown at Fallfest 2010, 1st in a class of One. Oh well - it is still a blue I guess . . .
His second show was The 2011 Futurity, Oh yes we had some competition there! ;^) 3rd Place in a class of 10 (mostly Champions) - sandwiched with the two above him - and the winner of Glow's class went on to get Color Champion. Tim Lavan very much liked this boy.
At the Nationals, Mike Safley judged him and was "Surprised by this fleece under here!" Again Glow placed 3rd in a large class, the two above him being quite a bit bigger and older boys (Glow was 14 months old in a yearling class). But Mike made it clear in his oral reasons that Glow's fleece was extraordinary, stating he had a fleece "like an Elite white fleece".
FIRST PLACE Fallfest Fleece Show - class of seven - 1/2 point behind the Champion - our Zeppelin. FIRST PLACE AOBA National Fleece Show 2012.
