Hannah Tryphena is the 1/2 Accoyo, golden daughter of Bronwyn’s Brown Sugar (a Panache Bolero daughter) and MFI PERUVIAN EXCYTER (a medium fawn son of PPPERUVIAN DON JUAN). Excyter’s dam is also a daughter of the famous PPERUVIAN LEON! On her dam’s half of the pedigree, you’ll see the likes of PPPERUVIAN ROYAL FAWN, PPPERUVIAN GRAND MASTER, PERUVIAN DON JULIO and even the medium silver grey stud from Chile, SILVESTRE! Hannah’s materal great grandsire is PERUVIAN MOONLIGHT MAJESTY, and her maternal grandsire is PANACHE’S BOLERO….
Hannah’s temperament is good. “Hannah is not afraid to get what she wants but she is not temperamental about it,” says Kathy. Hannah has a great personality.”
Hannah Tryphena has not been bred yet, but that’s because her owners, due to health issues in the family, realized they needed to cease their breeding program and ultimately focus on finding new homes for their alpacas. Hannah is so very nice, it’s a real shame she could not be bred in 2011 – but she’s ready now! Why not have your choice of stud cover her? The timing couldn’t be better.
I asked her owners what they feel stands out most about her, and Ralph and Kathy say they like everything about Hannah! “She looks and acts so much like her mother, Brown Sugar. Her conformation is perfect and she has beautiful fleece that is very dense. I love to touch her fleece for it is so soft…a lot like her sister, Tallie,” says Kathy. Her clip yielded over 5.5 pounds of fleece…nice!
Hannah does well in the handling department. Ralph and Kathy tell us, “She halters well and leads nicely…no problems so far with Herd Health Care.”
