All we can say about Magnolia is WOW! She has all the attributes one is looking for in a true black female. First off Maggie is a non-fading fourth generation jet black proven female. She has a very pleasing phenotype with a full bonnet, coverage from head to toe, good bone capacity, density and crimp. Maggie was shown only one time and placed 2nd in a very large competitive class of 14 behind the color champion; not a bad place to be for her very first and only showing. She is also great producer of high quality true black offspring. Maggie's first born son, Amistad, won his very first blue ribbon in his baby fleece at just six months of age in a competitive class of 14 as well. Her second son, Drakkar, is also an outstanding true black male having placed in the upper half of his class and has always attracted much attention with his full bonnet and coverage as well as pleasing phenotype. Her true black son, The Wiseman, is standing stud on our farm and is truly a handsome well beha
Grand River has just released the information that DARK SHADDOW has been retired. We have loved this male from the 1st time we seen him and have been very happy with his offspring we have seen. Although we are saddened by this news we are happy to have bought this male. We feel certain he will carry on the excellence of the DARK SHADDOW line. His show record speaks for itself receiving several blue ribbons and 4 Championship banners!
If you are looking for a high end light brown male then look no further! Luminosity is the full package and we are very excited about this boy! Luminosity's siblings are all blue ribbon winners and all high end quality. All have won their first blue ribbon at 6-7 months of age and his full sister, Esperanza, won a championship as well at such a young age. Luminosity got his name because his fleece is so very bright it glistens not to mention it is also very dense and crimpy. His conformation is excellent and his coverage is complete from head to to
Oh my, what can I say about this young male? He is absolutely stunning! Isaiah is the spitting image of his sire, Luminosity our 5 time Color Champion, only he is dark brown instead of light as his sire is. Isaiah has been in two very competitive shows and was the youngest in his class at the Southern Select and second youngest at the Best of the US. In the Southern Select Jude Anderson looked at him the first time through the entries and never touched him again! When she placed him first her comments were that, "he was clearly the best in the class and it was just a matter of placing the the rest of the group!" His second show was a very large class of 11 at the Best of the US, judged by Peter Kennedy. When he placed him first, he commented on Isaiah's over all package being the best in the class. Isaiah is very big for his age and his conformation is spot on even at this early age. His fleece is extremely fine and very dense and has a zipper style crimp that is as bright as you could possibly hope for! His dam is Sweet Magnolia, the same dam that birthed our other multi award winning herdsire, The Wiseman. Maggie has consistently thrown high quality, award winning cria and Isaiah may end up being the best of all! Look for Isaiah to continue in his winning ways in the show ring or purchase him now and enjoy showing him yourself before he starts what promises to be an exciting breeding career!!
