Do you want an alpaca who's loads of fun? This adorable girl is fun to look at and has a sweet friendly personality. She even has a little black mustache. Her fleece opens up to a bright, dark silver. It feels incredibly fine with pretty crimp. Her dam is a dark silver import and her sire is black with a deep lineage of black and grey. Blue ribbon and banner winners on both side of her pedigree. She's shown good growth from birth and her conformation is solid with a good bite.
And now she's had her first cria, a lovely female, who like her dam looked black at birth but is greying out underneath at 2 months. Out of Spring Pond Brigadiere. Same curious, friendly personality with a beautiful little head. Good grower with lots of vitality. Tammy's a great mom.

Brigadier has excellent conformation and beautiful, dense crimpy fleece with excellent coverage.

When we had Brigadier cria sheared we discovered he had a perfect black heart on his back.

Brigadier placed second in a class of 10 at The Futurity, fourth in a class of 9 at NAAS and fifth in a class of 11 at MAPACA

Brigadier continued to ribbon in the two fall shows he was entered including a third at The Empire Show, placing over a male that was color champion in a previous show.

Brigadier's fleece continues to be dense and crimpy with a very soft handle.

UPDATE: Brigadier's first crias are here - 3 crias, 3 black females with the density and crimp we were hoping for. Can't wait to see what comes next!
