Dexter's Peruvian Lily
Bay Black, 840256, Peruvian
Lily is a big, beautiful full Peruvian bay black female. She is a multiple color champion, having also won 4th place as a juvenile at AOBA. "Jet" is her first offspring. Her dam, from the fifth Peruvian importation, has a fine fleece with vicuna markings. Her grandsire, CPeruvian Jaxon, was the coveted male in the Canadian importation. Lily, at the age of five, won 1st in the 2008 Fiber to Fashion spin-off! She delivered a beautiful fawn FEMALE cria on October 1st, sired by SCA Peruvian Magnum, winner of the 2007 Spirit of Fiber Award.
Snowmass Peruvian Casanova was the high seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction where he sold for an amazing $147,000! He had a micron count of 18.3 at 3.5 years of age and his recent histogram is still under 25 microns at over 9 years of age! Snowmass Peruvian Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors in 2003 for his outstanding offspring. Not only that, in 2005, the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year was a Casanova son, Snowmass Nova, who sold in early 2006 for over $300,000! It's the first time ever that a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award!
How grateful we are to Alpacas of the Covenant, Kim and Richard Fouse for allowing us to purchase this beautiful male. ACOV Casanova's Jethro is "a striking male with consistent style and beautiful alignment, with a natural bite for an older breeding mate, and who moves with ease", stated Judge Wade Gease. Take note of his typey head, extensive fleece coverage and correct conformation and strong bone. His fleece is bright, soft handle, fine and crimpy and his list of ribbons should confirm this. He is full Peruvian; 5/8 ALLIANZA, offering the Peruvian Bueno and CPeruvian Jaxon bloodlines. His sire, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova was named Herdsire of the Year in 2003, having won multiple color championships leading up to the honor. Jethro's dam, Dexter's Peruvian Lily, a bay/black with silver grey lineage, is also a color champion! The Fouse's actually sold out of his fleece and yarn. His fiber is bright and beautiful.
Given that Jethro's sire, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova is now 16 years old, a proven adult black male like "Jet" that can throw grey and black, will be a sought after herdsire. Take advantage of his new bloodline here. "Jet has been greeting the girls here at Griffonwood, who are now spitting off when they see him for the most part. He's already stole our hearts here. Did I mention he has sired one beautiful girl, and more on the way from up north! Lucky for us they had only his lineage and could not use him!! Be sure to scroll down to see all of his ribbons.....hehehehe!
Dr. Andy Merriwether had evaluated Jethro and recommendated he have limited number of reduced service fees to selected dark-colored, full-Peruvian proven females because of the amount of grey lineage he has. No whites If you have that qualification we will reduce the stud fee, for at least his first year here. If you are interested in this new Badboy - please contact us as soon as possible, before someone.
