Bizcocho Biscuit is densely covered head to toe with beautiful, lustrous fiber. His second shearing had 14.7 micron with a CF of 100%! (nothing over 25 micron). He is 100% Accoyo from Camilio and Timoteo bloodlines. Biscuit has personality that would charm the toughest critic. Biscuits first cria are on the ground and are spectacular. The first is a Dark Rose Gray out of Fawn with a fantastic 15.4 micron. He has the density and coverage of his sire.Biscuit has produced 93% color cria and 70% female to date. His crias have all turned show age now and with just two shows, they have racked up four firsts, two reserve Championships, two seconds, two fourths, and a sixth. We are very pleased since all but one that entered, (she was too thin) placed at the 2008 Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver, Colorado.
Collin's Princeton, is a rich dark rose grey with no spots. He sported a 15.4 fleece at one year and is incredibly dense. He's one you've just got to touch to believe.
At his first show, 2007 GWAS, he took 2nd in his class. Judge Amanda Vandenbosch made the comment that he had the best conformation and by far the best fleece in his class, but placed him second because of his size. He had just turned 6 months of age. He went on to take 1st and Reserve Champion at the 2008 National Sweepstakes. He continues to place 1st or 2nd in every class he enters.
Now proudly owned and offered for stud by Horse Mountain Alpacas, Falkor Ranch Alpacas, and Alpacas de la Mancha which means he will be available in both eastern and western Colorado.
Princeton has a quiet and agreeable temperament. He is a gentle breeder and gets the job done.
UPDATE: Princeton's crias have hit the ground and we are not disappointed! He has thrown his modern rose gray coloring and even a true black! All are sporting his incredible fiber characteristics! He is now proving his worth in the show ring with several award wining crias including a Color Champion! Of note on the farm is Horse Mountain's Trekker an up and coming with incredibly dense and fine fiber.
Princeton will be st stud at Alpacas de la Mancha at the end of June for the remainder of the season.
