Belle has slimmed down immensely, and our vet has given her a clean bill of health. We're very excited that her ROYAL FAWN genetics are being passed on. Her fleece keeps its low micron count, and literally gets finer each year. This is a trait we should all be breeding for.
On 6/9/10, Belle surprised us all, and gave birth to a medium fawn/apricot, 16 lbs, and 1/4 Accoyo boy, Atticus. Her genetics, along with our herdsire Maxito's genetics were a winning combination.
Zsa Zsa made her appearance the evening of 2/27/12. She has the same square frame and bone density as her sire Maxito, & has his fine fleece characteristics as well.

Wow! What a phenomenal Specimen of an Accoyo Herdsire. He's been blessed with the same fleece traits as his sire, Senor Accoyo Pablo, right down to the brightness, ultra fine 15.4 micron, and bundling crimp on some of the whitest fleece I've ever experienced. All this atop a squared off frame with perfect conformation~ straight and lean with elite crimpy fleece.
Maxito is very expressive, and laid back. Maxito has been added to Picasso Alpaca's breeding program. His bloodlines and qualities are exactly the traits we strive to achieve in our breeding program. His first cria have arrived. Take a look at Little Man Atticus, and Chloe.
