Fontaine is now co-owned with Broken Road Alpacas and resides with Joe & Stacy Miller in Nebraska.
Fontaine carries color to the core. Her true black dam Circus Girl, and her sire, true black Aurora's Borealis both come from true black themselves. Her grandsire on her dam's side is Piazenca, a true black Chilean herdsire. Her grandsire, on her sire's side, is Pperuvian Angel. Both of these grandsires have legendary backgrounds for throwing some of the deepest brown to blacks in the country.
Fontaine carries the same color traits, displaying the tuxedo pattern in her medium fawn fleece. Her fiber is ultra fine, with soft handle and incredible luster. She displays ample coverage on a perfect frame.
With two very strong black, diverse champion blood lines in her background, her first breeding in 2006 was to Macgyver's Mojo, a bay black son of the renowned MacGyver.
She threw an AMAZING true black daughter for us. Burma Midnight is everything we had hoped
Sierra Bonita's Macgyver's Mojo
Bay Black, 1002799, Peruvian
Mojo's quality is to be expected from this full brother of Sierra Bonita's Sargent Pepper.
Mojo is the only black son of the highly successful pairing of Macgyver & fawn Picabo de Kolorado. The importance of Picabo's bloodline in this male can't be over estimated. If black is you passion, don't miss this opportunity to breed to Mojo. He has been selectively bred the past two years, and we're happy to open up his book to breeders who recognize the true potential of this stud.
Mojo was only shown in two shows, but came home with top honors at tough level V competitions. But more importantly take a look at the quality Mojo is producing. He has thrown 100% color even from white including true black and silver grey from fawn and white including GVA Burma Midnight who as a juvenile has already garnered two 1st, three 2nds, and a Reserve Color Championship.
Full sister to Multiple Color Champion Belefonte, Burma has what it takes to be a cornerstone foundation girl and now with her jet black daughter, Prussia at side she is a proven producer. Burma is bred back to the True Black Eminence of PVA.
Tall and erect, with perfect posture, she proudly displays tight pencil locks of lustrous black. Heavy fiber coverage, a typey head, and those turns heads good looks, make this the girl to start or add to your colored suri herd. This is an exceptional black.
Burma, Miss Congeniality of the herd, is an absolute pleasure to handle, and wowed the judges in the show ring. Her juvenile show record was always 1st & 2nd every time out including a Reserve Color Champion at barely six months old.
Her yearling show record saw her consistently still in 1st or 2nd place. If true black phenotype with solid true black genetics is on your wish list for a foundation breeding girl, Burma is an exceptional female.
Check out Belefonte to see the consistency of this pedigree. See him under his own foundation listing.
June 2010-Burma's first cria is a jet black female sired by Carbon Fiber by Torbio.
Proven now to produce jet black, we've chosen to breed Burma to a Kobe son, Eminence of PVA. This full brother to Diamonte not only brings the power of pedigree to this next cria, but his lustrous fleece (rarely seen in black) densely covering his compact frame is a perfect complement to Burma's proven attributes.
****UPDATE**** Burma gave birth to a stunning 21.4 lb boiy out of Eminence of PVA on July 20, 2011
