Star of Bethlehem

White, 156216, American

Star is a proven dam and attentive mother with lots of milk. She is 1/2 Peruvian and her Dam is True Black. She is bred to Tin Roof's Peruvian Romeo in hopes of producing another Dreamer of the North. Dreamer is an amazing Appoloosa who will be joining the show string in the spring.

  Benchmark's Peruvian El Capitan
    Medium Brown, 813519, Full Peruvian

Capi is a beautiful Maroon with black accents, which is extremely rare in a Full Peruvian. He is a proven herdsire offering a new bloodline to North America as he was imported "en utero." He has subperb confirmation, outstanding handle with coverage down to his toes. We continue to challenge him and each time he steps up to the plate, he delivers. For example, we bred him to White Peruvian Dams, we got LB/Gray and DF/Gray. We matched him up with our girl who never throws anything darker than Light Fawn (very light) and again, his colors have shown through with Cresida, a Rusty Brown (MB) little girl and Nutmeg, a cinnamon girl. Now he has had three true blacks born and one was from a beige Dam! El Capitan never ceases to amaze us. His track records stands at: 100% color (with Gray, Black, & even 2 Maroons out of Accoyo Dams) and over 70% Female. Add color without sacrificing Quality by reserving a breeding today. Peruvian El Capitan is Co-Owned with Pioneer Alpacas of Colorad

Here is a great opportunity to purchase a very UNIQUE and RARE animal. Appaloosas are not easy to find and The Rock expands on his rarity with the Maroon color. He is a solid and confident boy and a joy to work with. Rock has a very fine handle, great conformation, and wonderful coverage. He is priced as a non-breeder giving his owner the option to make their own decision on his breeding future. That decision needs to be made by time Rock is two years of age. Please contact us for details.
