| | | Interested in breeding for BLACK or SILVER GREY? This may be the female for you!
Jubilee is a lovely grey female with a dispositon that matches her name. She is an excellent mom, trouble free birther, and a good milk producer. Bred to black and rose grey she has had three true black crias, including: Black Diamond (picture at right), a Peruvian Matador son (Sold); Avalon's Liberty Belle (picture at right), see AlpacaNation listing; Avalon's Jet Set (See Jet Set's AN listing); and now Avalon's Black Pearl (pictures coming soon). With a silver dam and sire, it would be interesting to see if Jubilee would throw a silver grey cria bred to silver!
Jubilee is being bred back to AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat, our multiple award winning light fawn herdsire, for an October 2004 cria. See Aristocrat's listing below. | |

| | | Durango's lovely medium rose grey fiber is one of the truest rose grey colors we have ever seen. His conformation and balance are excellent, representing characteristics we want to pass on to future generations. As one judge put it, "He is so striking that you just WANT to place him first!"
Durango's first crias are here and they are wonderful with bright, crimpy fiber that is even better than either their sire's or dam's...exactly what we want from a herdsire! Continue to look for them in the showring

This handsome young male is as black as can be at the skin and his fiber just gets better and better! He is conformationally correct and as a yearling he already has herdsire presence. His head is very handsome with a full top knot. His fiber is bright with crimp from skin to tip and the handle of his fiber is especially soft. His grey and black genetics will make him an excellent choice for the discriminating breeder wanting to breed for these popular colors.
We look forward to showing him in 2004 shows and to watching him mature into a fine Jr. Herdsire. In his first show of the season, Jet Set took third in a highly competitive class of 8 black yearling and older males. Although he was next to the youngest in the class, he displayed a maturity of presence that caught everyone's eye. His next show will be in Madison, Wisconsin at the Great Midwest Alpaca Fest.
